The Nuggets gave the Lakers a run for their money by pushing it to Game 7 in the first round of the playoffs. Re-signing McGee will be their first priority in keeping a young core of players, including Lawson, Chandler, Gallinari, rookie Kenneth Faried, and perimeter defender Arron Afflalo (all 26 years old or younger). Maybe they can draft a scorer at SG to spell Afflalo like Doran Lamb if he's available, but as long as they keep JaVale, we'll be seeing them again competing in the playoffs.
