The Spurs had a great run this season but came up just short of making the Finals. They keep playing much better than most people anticipate in the offseason, especially with Parker making a run at getting the MVP this past season. With the draft pick, they'll most likely just take someone from overseas and develop them for a few years. They have a little bit of cap space, and they have been talking about being interested in Kevin Garnett, but most likely they will keep the same group of players back for next season. As long as they continue to develop their youth in Tiago Splitter and Kawhi Leonard, in addition to controlling the minutes and games of their older players, the Spurs will be back in the top of the West for at least one more season.
